General:
  • Course must be completed in 9 months to receive
    a satisfactory certificate of completion.
  • Students must be 18 years or older, otherwise
    consent from a parent or legal guardian is
    required.
  • This is an introductory course and therefore, no
    prerequisites are required.
  • Colour Emporium, Academy of Color is not
    responsible for any lost work or email
    correspondence.  It is suggested that students
    keep copies of all work and all correspondence.
Payment & Fees:
  • Payment in full is required at time of Registration
  • Students will incur an administrative charge of
    $30.00 if for any reason he/she cancels or drops
    the course between 1 day and 4 days from
    registering.
  • After 4 days and up to 9 days, students may
    withdraw from a course and receive a 50% refund.
  • After 9 days students may withdraw from a course
    but without any reimbursement.
  • Students are expected to complete all coursework
    & exams within nine (9) months from their
    registration date.  Any coursework/exams not
    completed within nine (9) months from
    registration date will be considered *incomplete*
    and will incur additional administrative fees to
    continue.
Supplies:
  • A minimal amount of supplies will be required for
    this course.  Students are responsible for the cost
    of any and all supplies.  Supplies typically
    average $20.
Enrollment:
  • Online registration and full payment
    automatically enrolls the student in course.
  • Allow one week from enrollment to receive
    welcome package via US Postal Service
  • After receipt of registration and payment, student
    will receive (via email) instructions to begin
    course.
